Burnout Monday: Our Favorite NASCAR-Engined Mopar From Down Under Hazes Out Brashernats Sydney!

Are your ears still ringing from all of the explosions of the Fourth of July? Are you still cleaning up all of the firecracker debris, or looking for the duds that didn’t go off? Maybe you just need something to get you going first thing in the morning, something you can hear loudly and clearly that doesn’t sound like an M-80, hair metal rock or some drunken moron yelling out “‘MURICA!” Well, we are here to provide you with that “something different”. We’ve featured “Bloky”, Daniel Blok’s R5P7-motored Valiant before. The green sedan screams like none other on the skid pads of Australia, mostly because there’s no boost, unlike many of his competitors, and mainly because the NASCAR block is meant to hang in the stratospheric ends of the tachometer comfortably. No mercy is given by Blok, and none will be taken by the Valiant. We really need to make friends with the guy who keeps this engine together.
