When Mike Maier hits the autocross course, people pay attention. The 7 time SCCA National Autocross Champion is a certifiable bad ass. Plain and simple. The fact that he’s an absolutely awesome guy with a cool family, and a crazy fun character to boot, only makes him more fun to hang out with. We’ve been lucky enough to see Mike and his wife Brianne’s famed little blue Mustang tear it up for the past several years and can tell you that nobody has more fun while being more competitive than this guy. One thing that is interesting to see when Mike is driving is the fact that the steering wheel is never stationary. It’s always moving, keeping the tires talking and working, which results in amazing autocross times that usually have him at or near the top of the heap.
