You can find drag cars and pro-touring cars for sale online every single day, but finding a Land Speed Racing (LSR) car is a little more rare. And especially on Craigslist. But since we’re located here in SoCal, home of the SCTA, it’s sort of fitting that we’d find a cool 1932 Ford Roadster for sale that is on it’s way to becoming one ultra bitchin Roadster. There is no doubt that you still have some real expenses in putting this car together, even if you don’t consider the engine and trans, but this car is worth considerably more than the $9,750 asking price.
I think this could be a really fun project for someone. Mount the body, wire it, plumb it, fire system it, safety stuff it, fuel system, engine, trans, some wheels and tires, and get it on! I wonder how cheaply we could build this into a 200 plus MPH machine? Hmmmmm
