Ebay Find: Finding The Car Of Your Childhood Dreams – A Drivable Cozy Coupe!

Red body, yellow top, white mesh wheels with red caps, barely fits two. For a lot of kids growing up, the Little Tykes Cozy Coupe was their first real set of wheels. And we mean lots: in production since 1979, the Cozy Coupe has proven to outsell many actual cars in U.S. and U.K. markets. Even though Little Tykes has offered up other variations of the same concept, the Cozy Coupe still has a strong fan base. The 2000 Daewoo Matiz, on the other hand, is simply a forgettable hatchback that has just enough power to move itself. Nothing of importance and nothing really desirable.

Now, if you take all of the positive ideas behind the Cozy Coupe, and put them onto a Matiz that would otherwise be ran into the ground and scrapped afterwards, you end up with this: a drivable, road-legal Cozy Coupe. It’s a city car with an 800cc engine, but it can hit 70 miles an hour if need be. It’s a one-seater (unless you have a really tiny friend) and there is no glass in it at all, so you’d better bring a helmet along. It took 1,000 man hours to turn the Matiz into the Cozy Coupe and set the builder back about £35,000. All we can think about looking at the car is “Hayabusa swap”.

That would be the perfect “car” for the whiney ass college students at liberal colleges, it would fit their mentality perfectly, the only thing that is missing is a Hillary / Sanders bumper sticker.

That would be the perfect “car” for the Jethro Lummox conservative type, it would fit their single digit IQ perfectly. The only thing missing is a “Don’t Tread On Me” bumper sticker and a set of truck nuts.
