I don’t think there is anyone on the planet that wouldn’t refer to the Russians as a bit crazy or whacky. But we have to give it to them, because they are gearheads for sure. And if you think back to the days of Soviet control, their choice of racing vehicles won’t surprise you. Since the public couldn’t just buy cars and build whatever they wanted, they raced their tractors, flat bed trucks, etc. Well, it has gone to an entirely different level now. These tractors are driving through 5 foot deep water and mud, flying over jumps, sliding around corners, and flipping over. Because they are still tractors!!! These aren’t tricked out tube chassis bad boys. Some have bumpers, some have added turbo plumbing, and some have chosen slightly different front tires, but for the most part these are tractors that have a 3-point hitch out back and are ready for the field. Watch and you will laugh.
Oh and did I mention that thousands of people show up to watch this calamity?
