Legends racers are neat little screamers. What doesn’t sound fun about running a 5/8ths scale 1930s or 1940s car powered by a Yamaha bike engine running around a road course? Far as we are concerned, this is how go-karts for adults should be, and they are serious little machines, fully capable of hitting 130 miles an hour given enough room. We’d run them so long as there were tires on all four corners and fuel in the tank, no problem…well…so long as we fit inside of them, anyways. Wonder what we’re on about? Check out this footage from Johnny Dressler as he blasts around Las Vegas Motor Speedway…screaming RPMs, great racing, great views, in a car with a communicative chassis that weighs in at around 1100 pounds before the driver is put into the equation. If you can’t have fun with that kind of combination, you just won’t have fun behind the wheel.
