Muscle Cars at the Strip, formerly known at Mopars at the Strip, is one of the most diverse events we’ve ever seen. With a few hundred cars drag racing, dozens autocrossing, hundreds in the car show, and then a swap meet, car corral, vendors, and more it would be a huge event. But when you also throw in cruises each night, two concerts with bitchin bands, food, drinks, and more, it’s a really happening. It was our first year at the event, and we were impressed by the diversity of cars, people, and activities. The event is still heavily weighted with Mopars, but that’s because the everyone is welcome attitude just started. Chevrolets, Fords, and more are there racing, cruising, showing off, and having fun, and that’s what it’s really all about.
While we were broadcasting live from the event, with all kinds of drag racing, and roaming pit and track equipment cameras, we got to see a ton of cool stuff. Darr was out there snapping photos like a mad man while also manning the Aeromotive booth and handing out prizes.
