Like to talk about racing and listen to people cover issues with racing that nobody else is talking about? You’re in luck, six people in the world, because I recently started cohosting The DFL (as in “Dead Freakin’ Last”) Show, a podcast as part of Hooniverse.com’s family of podcasts. In the show, we take an irreverent and—once in a while, anyway—an accidentally serious look at the assorted worlds of racing. While we mostly talk open-wheel and sports car racing, my cohosts and I discuss the past and upcoming racing weekends, talk about issues in racing, mock each other relentlessly, hand out pointless awards, and play an impossible trivia game that yours truly devises.
It’s a good time and for this week’s episode, the regular crew—usually Bradley Brownell (Hooniverse, Flat Sixes), Patrick Hoffstetter (Hooniverse, Jalopnik), Stef Schrader (Jalopnik), and myself—are joined by sports car racer Duncan Ende, who will feature regularly on the show. It’s a good episode and the game is particularly impossible and, therefore, entertaining.
