This weekend marks the first Get Started Racing Autocross course presented by Detroit Speed and Jet Hot. We’ll be on hand announcing and spreading joy as always, and hope that you will join us as well. Late last week there were a couple spots open, and if you want to join just tell them BangShiftChad sent you and they’ll make sure you get in. We have a great group of acclaimed drivers who will be your instructors, and will cover everything from tech inspection and driving skills, to full autocross instruction. If you have been intimidated about going out and participating at a Goodguys Autocross or your local SCCA because you thought you would look bad, then this is the class for you.

The Get Started Racing School will not onlly give you good lessons on car control, and proper technique, but also give you the confidence you need to go out and have a good time in your hot rod.

The cost for participating is $200 for the entire event; including tech inspection at Jet-Hot facility, comprehensive instruction relative to safety, vehicle dynamics and driver skill training, as well as meals each day and a commemorative T-shirt. Note: Each participant will be given two meal tickets so that a friend or spouse may hang out with you. They will not participate in the events but they will be able to hang out with you and a meal for them is included.

All events run rain or shine and are non-refundable.

NOTE: Helmets, long sleeve pants and long sleeve shirts are recommended
