When BANGshifter Jason Mills sent us the link to this video, and told us “I just saw this and I think it is the best sounding inline 6 ever.. AND the dude can and does flog the 300SL! (Now I want to create a mid 70’s SLC in the same spirit and sound of the original.) we had to check it out. And boy are we glad we did! Watching a 300 SL, which is supposed to be a luxury cruiser sports car, get thrown around like this means you have some serious skill and an understanding that there is heritage there that needs to be celebrated by racing this car at this level.
We want to applaud the driver, because he’s clearly got skills and we love watching it.

Excellent drive, very capable, obviously a rallye driver, going on his thumbs are on top of the wheel , not inside the rim.
If the driver is not the owner ,there would be good reason for panic.( by owner )
But that what sports cars are for.

300SL’s are very cool- totally tube framed lot’s of torque hi performance cars .
