Who knew that a bunch of good ol’ boys from the Midwest and some of the most unhinged drivers from Iceland could have something in common? Apparently, drive to go off-roading up hills in a violent nature with maximum throttle application and minimum thought towards self-preservation can surpass language barriers and oceans, because for the last few years Iceland’s Formula Offroad drivers, the ones with the tube-frame Jeep-like machines running huge paddle tires at all four corners, have been making a trek to Dyersburg, Tennessee for Icelandic Formula Offroad event at Bikini Bottoms Off-Road Park. In addition to the unhinged Nordics coming out to play, some of the local rockbouncer types show up to throw down as well. With plenty of hills to test out and lots of chances for good air and bad rolls down the hills, this looks to be absolutely insane.
