This Willys FC 170 Jeep Truck Is Super Rare And In Really Great Shape. You Can Build This One Into A Bad Ass

We rarely see these Willys FC trucks, but when we do we love them. They are weird and quirky and fun. The FC stands for Forward Control, which in Jeep speak means Cab Over. They were sold to be used as commercial vehicles of all kinds from 1956 to 1965 and this particular example is a 1963 model 170. Five models of FC were built, and powered by different engine combinations. The 150 and 160 models were 4 cylinders. The 170, and 180 models were available with an inline 6, and the 180 and 190 models were available with a V8. Each model designation also had a different wheelbase, with the 170 available in both single rear wheel and dual rear wheel models.

This particular 170 has had a small block swap, but is currently not running. Below is all the info from the seller.

The FC series of Willys were a rather unique vehicle.
If you know about these trucks you know they were prone to rust and most have rust in the body at the door hinges , “A” pillar, roof peak, floors, and rear cab corners. That is a lot of body work to restore and expensive and time consuming.

This truck I have for sale has no rust in the areas noted and all around this is a excellent candidate for restoration or just clear coat it and drive it with the patina. I do not know the condition of the engine but all the parts are there along with the OD for it to be put back together.

I am asking $7500 for the truck. Come see it in person if you want to negotiate. Clear CA title

FCs forever! Fie, fie upon FCA for not bringing the Mighty FC concept into some sort of limited production. If Lincoln/Ford an make a special run of 80 suicide-door-equipped Continentals, surely Jeep and it’s halloed status within FCA could have tried the same thing.
