The cool thing about Jay Leno is that this man routinely dredges up cars that we don’t think about in any form whatsoever, A Panhard, a Talbot-Lago, a Brough? Pretty much nobody thinks of those! When the most normal thing the dude coughs up is a 1950s Crown Victoria that is mid-build wearing fresh paint, it’s a good day to see what’s being torn into and polished up in the restoration shop side of his operation. From a Rochester-Duesenberg to a 1968 Firebird with the OHC Sprint six-cylinder, no car is unloved at this shop. None. The dude loves them all, and he loves to talk about them all, as much as he can when nobody is in the shop and it’s just him with a couple of cameras.
In addition to the mentioned above, you’ll get to check out some of the motorcycles that he’s been working on, including a BSA and a Triumph that together could probably fund a couple years’ worth of travel in my world, as well as a look at the Detroit Electric that he’s been toying with for a bit and one of his most famous cars, the Oldsmobile Toronado that is as radical today as it was when it debuted fifteen years ago. Jay, if you are by some reason reading these words, please hurry on that Toronado feature.
