Big Rigs, Big Rigs, And More Big Rigs From The Great American Trucking Show In Dallas

Big Rigs, Big Rigs, And More Big Rigs From The Great American Trucking Show In Dallas

(Photos by Rob Bennett) The Great American Trucking Show is like the SEMA Show of Big Rigs. With over 500 exhibitors, representing more than 52,000 trucking industry products, and a truck show that has no rival, this is an event no self respecting trucker or big truck enthusiast can afford to miss. Overdrive’s Pride and Polish is the part of the event that Rob Bennett captured for us, as it is where big trucks that are detailed, polished, and chromed to the max can be found. We’re talking big trucks done up right and with details that we’ve never seen before. This is an event that will knock your socks off, that’s for sure.

In the photos below there are a tons of rigs in all shapes and sizes. Some with trailers, some without. And before you ask how some of these trucks get out the driveway with ultra low front bumpers, they are often electrically operated so that they pivot up and out of the way of obstacles. In reality, these ultra low bumpers are a great performance advantage on the road as keeping the air out from under the truck aids in fuel mileage. Plus, it looks cool as hell!

Check out the photos below, and remember to click on any of them to make them larger and to scroll through the entire slide show.
