There are parts of our lives that transcend national borders, religious differences, and political motivations. Food, music, laughter, and love all exist outside of these realms, but what about the automotive sickness that every BangShifter enjoys so well? We’ve seen plenty of examples from around the world, but for a moment let’s take a look at the country of Iran, a country that most people only know from the evening news. The only vehicle in Iran we’ve shown (that I can recall, anyways) is the 1974 Baldwin-Motion Phase III Camaro owned by Ramin Salehkhou that has been in the country ever since it was new. But that wasn’t the only American car that was sent over…in fact, it seems that many cars have managed to make it into the country. A contributing member of V.I.S.I.T. who goes by the pseudonym “Chevy Rider”, recently started posting up excellent pictures of the local car scene, and the spread is pretty impressive. Cars, trucks, late-model and classic are represented here. Gearhead is a language and way of life that ignores boundaries and is shared by many.
guess that is cool to see
although the backgrounds didn’t look so well
the cars seemed in really nice condition
Since when is a Toyota FJ Cruiser “American Iron”?
I’m thinking every one of those American cars are stolen.
I remember seeing a you tube video of dozens of f-bodys over there at what would be a cruise night. I think we dont get the whole story from the media about the place, but it does look like a shithole.
