(Photos by Jim Hrody) Thanks to Jim, there are plenty of photos to see from the NSRA Street Rod Nationals in York and they are of course some of the coolest rides from the show. And they’re not just hot rods, street rods, and traditionals. Nope, the NSRA is all about Street Machines too.
Technically a Street Rod is a pre-1949 modified or custom vehicle, while 1949 and newer fall under the category of Street Machine. Years ago the National Street Rod Association (NSRA) realized the need to include later model vehicles to attract the next generation of hot rodder. Now this event welcomes custom and modified vehicles from 1988 and older.
The NSRA Street Rod Nationals East takes place at the historic York Fairgrounds in York, PA. The event itself has quite the history, being its 50th year and attracting more than 4000 street rods, muscle cars and customs during the three-day show.
We promise that there is no shortage of photos to share, nor is there any chance you won’t find at least one thing you think is cool in our galleries. With that said, don’t blame us if you find yourself spending hours looking at photos. It is our fault, but we won’t apologize for it.
