The 45th NSRA Nationals In York Had Something For Everyone

(Words and Photos by Troy Thomas)Technically a Street Rod is a pre-1949 modified or custom vehicle, while 1949 and newer fall under the category of Street Machine.  Years ago the National Street Rod Association (NSRA) realized the need to include later model vehicles to attract the next generation of hot rodder.  Now this event welcomes custom and modified vehicles from 1988 and older.

The NSRA Street Rod Nationals East takes place at the historic York Fairgrounds in York, PA.  The event itself has quite the history, being its 45th year and attracting more than 4000 street rods, muscle cars and customs during the three day show.  With severe weather threatening the event, the car count was down.  However, the hardcore hot rodders disregarded this threat, making for a great event.  Here are some photo highlights…
