We dig trucks, and are big fans of all truck drag racing events like the Tailgate Throwdown, because trucks can haul ass too! I’m a fan of all trucks on the dragstrip, but even though I own an S10 I still think that fullsize trucks hauling ass are something special. In this case, we’re talking about the Full Size Truck Shootout from Alabama. We’re talking no cars of any kind at this one, just fullsize trucks.

When we heard about the Trucks Only race in Alabama, we knew we had to be there. What’s even cooler? You had to have a “full-size” truck to enter, which leveled the playing field even more. In a world where drag races are “taken over” with Foxbody’s.. it’s safe to say this was a pleasant change of scenery for us.
