The Merrill Ice Drags have been going on since 1965 and bring out all kinds of ice racing craziness. But not every vehicle out there is a purpose built ice racer. In fact most of the cars, trucks, dragsters, etc are quite the opposite as they are average drag cars modified with spiked tires that have hundreds of drywall screws that bite the ice and provide traction. Seeing these things leave the starting line is a little like watching sand drags only a hell of a lot colder. And while seeing a wheelstand on the ice at the hit is pretty rare, a power wheelstand down track does occur on occasion and one of the most famous cars to do so is featured in this video from Kyle and the boys at 1320 Video. Check it out and tell us what you think.
