Like we’ve said before, we’re following a couple of groups of folks with regard to Sick Week videos this week, and of course, the gang at 1320Video is on that list. We love this crew and have traveled all across the country with them on multiple occasions. They know how to share cool stuff, how to follow the story, and how to make sure we all get to see it. So check out the video descriptions below and check out their first couple of days of coverage.
Video Description:
The final day of Sick Week has finally arrived! About a quarter of all the vehicles that entered have dropped out! This is a very taxing event on the vehicles and the drivers. We find out some crazy stories today and find out who made it and who did not. Just surviving is truly an accomplishment. Some racers achieved more than just surviving by winning (or coming close to winning) their class! Of course there’s always top dog and this year it’s the boys from Sweden in their insane S10!
Video Description:
It’s day 4 of Sick Week and over 70 racers have had to drop out of the competition! If that isn’t a testament to how tough these drag and drives are then we don’t know what is! For those who remain: it’s either been easy peasy or it’s been a ride on the struggle bus. Along with those things that you’ll see in the video, a racer gets accused of cheating. Fred speaks to him about the situation and how it was resolved. One more day of coverage coming after this video and we’ll see who comes out on top!

Day 3 of Sick Week led us to Georgia Motorsports Park. We had another unfortunate wreck on the top end of the track. Driver was transported to the hospital but is ok aside form a couple minor injuries. Thank God for safety equipment! Some of our fastest competitors dropped out this day including Cleetus! We hope you enjoy al the coverage thus far on Sick Week and of course we have 2 more days to come!

Day 2 of Sick Week is what drag and drives are all about! Tons of people getting their cars figured out and making killer passes! The C4 Corvette from Sweden made a killer pass but had their door rip off of their car on the top end! Many others are in even worse situations like Chad in his stick shift C6. His transmission literally EXPLODED. All the highs and lows of a drag and drive are definitely highlighted in this video!

It is the first OFFICIAL day of the first Sick Week in 2023! Already we see the highs and lows of these types of events. Many people running the numbers they want to see, breaking records, and running personal bests! On the other side of thrill, is agony for others. You’ve got guys breaking on the line, pulling motors in the pits, and everything else you can think of. (including a nasty wreck pretty early on in the day) As if all that wasn’t enough, the racers had to make a 150 mile drive to the next track. After just day 1, we’re seeing people drop like flies while others breeze through the obstacles these events offer. We cannot wait to see what the rest of this week will bring us!

Sick Week is BACK! This 2023 event is just the second ever Sick Week and it is off to a fantastic start! The number of participants is INSANE! Approximately about 350 racers, and 200 road weekers! The racers are going to travel about 1000 miles over the course of the week throughout tropical Florida and the bottom of Georgia. Each day the racers will travel to a new track and have to make at least one pass before they are eligible to move on to the next! We are absolutely PUMPED about the coming week!
