With rare exception, most of the Street Outlaws have never actually raced the cars you know and love down a 1/4 mile dragstrip. That’s because they all race 1/8th mile whether on the street or on the track. So how quick are they really? Since most of the time we only see them run No Time events, nobody really knows. Since some of the Street Outlaws decided to come visit the Import vs Domestic – World Cup Finals it was a perfect time for our friends at 1320Video to see what kind of numbers they can turn in. This year at Import vs Domestic – World Cup Finals, we were graced with seeing a few of the Street Outlaws make some quarter mile passes in cars that have previously never done so. Much anticipated was seeing John Odom in his 5,000hp “GTR”, who was there to prove to haters that a 5 second pass and 230mph was no problem for the car.
