Day 4 was different from any other Race Week in history, because it started and ended in the same place. After driving from Ennis Texas to Tulsa on Day 3, and then racing late into the night, racers got some sleep and then woke up to make an approximately 160 mile drive through the eastern hills of Oklahoma. Driver’s were given the choice of taking their trailers with them, if they were hauling one in the first place, or to risk it and leave them at the track during the drive. I say “risk”, because this drive had zero hardware stores, auto parts stores, and only a handful of gas stations, so if you decided to leave your trailer at the track and then had a problem, that decision could bite you in the butt. And it did for a few folks.
But when they got back to Tulsa, it was time for some racing and man these competitors did not disappoint with huge runs and personal bests that had everyone excited and loving it.

Race Week 2.0 Day 4 is our second day at Tulsa Raceway Park! We ran into someone who is LIVING in their trailer for the week, people are fixing their cars in what seems an impossible amount of time, and plenty of people attempting to lock in the win for their class before the drive day tomorrow!
