Hereās Day 2 video from Alex and the crew as they got an even more drama filled day than the weather and crashes caused on Day 1. Day 2 started off not great, got not greater, and ultimately ended with a typical Alex and Dennis Taylor thrash and save. Good job for them, but man this one was tough.

Yesterday was too easy, so obviously today had to add dramatic flare😅 The car wasn’t happy during the first pass and ran a 8.98 which wouldn’t keep Alex anywhere close to her first place class position.
With 1 hour before lanes close we were finally able to go up for a second pass. Pulling into the water box, the gear vendor went out (probably from earlier pass).
A 20 minute gear vendor swap out, we pulled back into the lanes and knocked off a 6.78 @ 213 MPH 🙌 This thankfully keeps us in first place of our class currently and third overall.
The drive proved to be even more eventful, when Nick and his dad lost their wheel and tire on a few miles down the road from Bradenton. Uncle Sam is now out of the race but thankfully Nick and his Dad were okay.
