So here’s the deal, we like all three of the guys up for the 8th spot in the Traxxas Top Fuel shootout at the US Nationals. Terry McMillan, Troy Coughlin Jr., and Scott Palmer are the three potential guys that can get in. There’s voting going on right now and the guy that wins the vote gets the most lottery balls and the best chance to have his number drawn on August 30th at the fan fest in downtown Indy.
We’re asking your help to get Palmer the best shot into this thing. Why? It’s the guy’s first full season of top fuel racing, they are almost locked into a top 10 spot, and they kick all ass. This is a guy who has a Studebaker with a top fuel engine in it. They run on the tightest budget of any full time fuel team in drag racing and they’re hot rodders like we are.
These guys deserve a shot at the shootout not because we feel bad for them but because they are the only bad asses whacking the throttle in the pits on their warm up, fans love them, they are down to Earth, and they can party with the best of them. We love these guys and we’re betting you do too. Vote for Palmer!
