We waited so long for drag racing to get started again and thankfully it did in fact get underway the past couple of months. The challenge with the abbreviated season was the fact that all of a sudden there were a TON of events happening all at the same time and series were running week after week. It meant that championship standings are changing week to week and guys who thought they were out of the hunt at one event suddenly find themselves battling it out in the last events of the season. It has been fun to watch and I can tell you that there are already champions crowned that wouldn’t have bet on themselves just a week ago. This weekend the IHRA visits Memphis for the IHRA Summit Superseries World Finals and we are certain that there will be some heartbreak, and some dreams coming true.
