DO NOT CALL IT MURDER NOVA 2.0! That’s a direct order from Shawn, as he says he will never approve calling it, or any other car, 2.0. Just sayin’. But what it is for sure is a cool car that is most certainly much nicer than the old piece and potentially much much quicker and faster. With the same 88mm turbos, and 90 cubic inches LESS displacement, this is one bad ass “small-block” powered Nova. It only had a half dozen passes on it by the time first round happened at Outlaw Armaggedon, but it looked pretty good. With any new car there is an adjustment period on getting the setup just right, learning what the car wants, and getting comfortable in it. We think Shawn was doing pretty good with that few laps.

Chief’s car goes as straight as a string. Shortest distance between two points is….a straight line. Winner. That Pontiac engine is a freak! The Assassin heads on Shawns Nova are Extreme. Maybe to good. Twin 88s on a 482. That has to be a first.
