Holy crap, it’s happening. NHRA has announced that tickets are now on sale for the NHRA Winternationals in Pomona, and that it is happening in July. LOL Yep, the Winternationals are the Summernationals in Pomona this year and we couldn’t be happier. It has been more than a year since an event was held at the famed LA County Fairgrounds in Pomona and that includes all NHRA Drag Racing, Pomona Swap Meet, and more. This is great news for the community, great news for fans, and great news for Drag Racing. NHRA’s home has been in SoCal forever, and not being able to have the season opener and season finale at home has been horrible. We hope this is a great sign that the season ending World Finals will also be held at Pomona in November!

| The NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series is going bring winter to Pomona this summer! You’re invited to celebrate the summer-themed Lucas Oil NHRA Winternationals presented by ProtectTheHarvest.com as it returns to sunny Southern California, July 30 – August 1.
Tickets are on sale now for the event at historic Auto Club Raceway at Pomona. You’ll see racing action amongst the four NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series categories, with one qualifying round on Friday and two on Saturday before final eliminations on Championship Sunday. Fans will be treated to the 11,000-horsepower Top Fuel and Funny Car classes, the ultra-sophisticated Pro Stock division and the highly competitive Pro Stock Motorcycle field. The rising stars of the NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series will also compete throughout the weekend.
A highlight of the NHRA Winternationals will be Friday AND Saturday night qualifying. Don’t miss out on thrilling pro qualifying runs under the lights, followed by a hot rod cacklefest and fireworks show each night. Experience a throwback to the summer nights of racing in SoCal that is sure to be unforgettable.
