Historic Race Video: Restored And Original Racecars Were Big At The Chattanooga Motorcar Festival

Look at these awesome historic racecars that were on hand at the Chattanooga Motorcar Festival. Tommy Lee Byrd, the Hot Rod Hoarder, was on hand and got all kinds of great videos. In fact, we’ve got more videos coming from his coverage, but this one here is all about historic race cars. We’re talking about both original and restored cars. If you dig motorsports history, then you are going to want to check out these rides.

Video Description:

Going through the pits (or paddock) at the Chattanooga Motorcar Festival was awesome. I couldn’t possibly cover every car on the property, but I wanted to show you some of my favorites that were parked at the time. Some cars were on the track during filming, so I couldn’t see them all up close…but some really great stuff, including a row of incredible vintage stock cars. These included the famous Coors Thunderbird driven by Bill Elliott, the Motorcraft Thunderbird driven by Ricky Rudd, as well as an AJ Foyt Jr Oldsmobile, a Bobby Allison car and others. We also check out Corky Coker’s collection of crazy Brass Era race cars, including his killer Marmon Wasp replica.
