(Photos by Gary Rowe at Raceworks.com) The PSCA Heads-Up Hootenanny at Gateway near St. Louis is one of the more interesting heads up racing events you’ll find. The facility is great, Mel Roth and crew at the PSCA know how to put on a fun event, and it brings racers from all over the country, plus Canada. But that isn’t what is interesting. What is, happens to involve the “special guests” in the Winner’s Circle. Yep, with a name like Hootenanny you kind of expect that a few farm animals might find their way into photos, and you’d be right. Farm animals in the Winner’s Circle? Yep, but only at the PSCA Heads-Up Hootenanny.

And while we were there showing the entire event live, Gary Rowe at Raceworks.com was out shooting photos like a mad man.
