It would cost significantly more than the $9500 asking price to have this 25.5 Roller Fox Mustang Notch built to this level. This is just one of several race cars we have found lately that you can get for a song. We aren’t sure if it is because Christmas is coming and folks need the cash or what, but man we wish we had some! This car is set and ready to run 10.5, Outlaw 8.5, X275 or Outlaw Drag Radial. The planned powertrain was a big block Chevrolet and TH400 but at this point it’s easy to run whatever you want. The work on this thing looks nicely done from the photos and it looks like all the fabrication work is done so you just have to start bolting things in and then go racing.
If you bought this car today and worked on it over the winter you would be ready to race for spring. I know people are sick of hearing it, but there are plenty of junkyard engines that could go in this thing and make it a player. I hate to break it to some of the guys in these classes, but a junkyard big block or LS with some bolt-ons and a turbo makes this little car a screamer.
