Holy crap! As the owner of a First Gen Camaro Convertible there is a part of me that wants to cry when I see this car. Okay several parts of me. But, you have to give it to the guy that built this thing because it is part Corvette Summer and part Street Freak and all kinds of custom and crazy. The body mods abound on this thing and don’t seem to stop no matter how many times you look at it and from whatever angle. What’s most amazing to me is that this is actually a custom that was built in the early 1970’s. The flares are steel. Virtually all the body mods are done in steel actually and if you take a close look at it you’ll see that there are some pretty creative tricks going on. Would we drive it? Hell yes! Would we own it? Not yet, we have too many others we want to buy first. It does have a blown small block and a 12 bolt in it, so it’s not bad on that count. We bet we can do some really really good burnouts in this thing and that it gets A LOT of attention.

1967 Camaro Convertible Custom One Off Show Car, built in the early 1970’s. Thousands of hours, dollars, blood, sweat, & tears went into this full blown no expense spared custom built show car.
This vehicle is a period correct Custom, from the early 1970’s, & true find. Nothing has been untouched on this car. The complete undercarriage has has been painted, to match the top of the car.
The details wrap around this car all the way through. Full custom steel flares, air scoops, tilt nose treatment, rear spoiler, & quad lamps to name a few. There are some small scratches, chips, & or blemishes in the paint from age. This car still shows incredibly well. 350 SBC, Big Valve Heads with Roller Rockers, Oversize Cam, 671 Blower, & Dual 500 CFM Carbs.
Turbo 350, B & M Shifter, & shift kit. Power windows, power steering, power brakes, & auto meter gauges. Oversize Custom Radiator, with Dual electric fans. 12 bolt rear, built up with custom Aluminum cover. Fully Polished Aluminum Wheels, with brand new BFG tires.

I know this car, it originally came from the St.Louis area, as the owner is in our Mopar group. Looks like Joe sold it and it is now residing in Arizona.

I’m STILL off me nut on them with no sign of ever coming down – that’s why I think that with a change of colour to gloss black and a subtle lowering job this beauty would shine even today…..
