I’ve always loved Anglias. As a little kid watching them run at Fremont Dragstrip I always said I would own one someday. I wish this was that “someday”. What a bitchin little project! It has real magnesium wheels front and rear! Plus all kinds of other good parts and they are all period-correct stuff. It’s a flip top body car, which wasn’t on my list of things I need in mine, but with the center steer setup and all it’s pretty fitting. It’s a real deal steel Anglia too, although the front end and doors are now glass. Can you imagine stuffing a blown small block into this thing? Or how about throwing a big block in it and hanging a couple of turbos out the sides!? What fun we could have with this one!
