This 1937 Chevrolet Coupe Is Alston Equipped And Big Block Powered For Cheap!

Unfinished race cars are sometimes the best deals out there. Not always, but sometimes you can get a lot more for your money and end up with a project that has you way farther ahead that you’d be if you started from scratch with the same budget. You never know why people need to sell a project like this one, but if we were in the market for a new race car then this one could be a riot to finish and race. The body is steel with a fiberglass front end, and is in need of finishing but there is no arguing with the parts list in this one.

With a big block that has been dynoed at nearly 800 horsepower, a built Strange 9 inch, a fresh Mike’s Glide, a complete 4-link rear clip from Chris Alston’s Chassisworks and a matching front Alston clip as well, this car really does have some good stuff going on. It still needs the interior sheetmetal finished, but the bones are there and we bet this sucker would be a great time on the track. We’d love to see it with an 8-71 blower sticking through the hood. Wouldn’t you?
