I love Pro Street cars. Fast, slow, cruiser or racer, they are all cool looking and that’s all that matters. Sure, if I had one I’d want it to run a respectable number, but even if they don’t they certainly look cool and turn heads. Such is the case with this 1969 Ford Torino GT Pro Street car. It’s got the stance, the tire, the look, and is only a roll bar and nitrous away from being a runner as well.
If it was ours it would get a 6 point bar to make it easy to get in and out of, but legal to run into the 10’s. Unless the 428 is a complete pooch a 150 shot of NOS Nitrous should make this beast move and the drivetrain is bulletproof with the C6 and 9″ rear. Plus, the 15 gallon fuel cell means you can actually drive this thing and enjoy it. Plus the 3.90 rear gear and 31 inch tall tires won’t be a bad combo strolling down the freeway either.
Here is what the seller has to say about it:
1969 Ford Torino GT, 428 ci , B&M C6 Trans, 9″ rear end w/390 gears, tubbed w/brand NEW Hoosier Radial 31×18.5×15″ tires, 15 gallon fuel cell. A nice older Pro Street car that is period correct. Way too much to list $28,000 O.B.O. or trade for older Cadillac, 55 Chevy or…..
