This 1971 Vega Kammback Wagon Is The Ultimate Sleeper With An LS Swap And Rad Patina

There is no way that you could build this car for the asking price, and we know the guys who built it so we know it will be a fun runner. The 400 horse all aluminum LS3 screams in this little bitty car, and is backed by a built TH350 and a 9 inch so that it will live forever. This car is an ultra solid California car with a couple tiny rust spots and no rot in the floors. We’d drive this thing daily with just a few tweaks and such because it would be a riot to drag some ass around town with this thing. The engine, trans, and rear end in the car, along with the plumbing and redone front seats would cost you what the asking price is for this ride and we would really love to see someone pick it up, finish up the details, and then enjoy the hell out of this awesome sleeper.

Wouldn’t you? Check it out and look at all the seller had to say about it below.

Looks like a fun little car, the unibody on these are really weak (had a Vega panel with a 327 in it split right behind the seats door to door in the 70s), a little chassis work and a rollbar in would be about perfect.

ok … is it just me or who else would turn the intake around and pull intake air from the cowl at the base of the windshield instead of under the hood
