This 8-Second Procharged Falcon Makes Over 1000 HP At The Tires And Would Be A Beast On The Street

Ford’s Falcon is no stranger to the dragstrip, as the lightweight package has been popular for swapping in most any Ford engine under the sun. Big blocks, small blocks, Mod motors, and more, can be found under the hood at tracks and shows across the globe. When combined with a back half and big tires, they most certainly can haul ass. With that said, this car has factory steel and glass and is titled and registered for the street. We can see this one doing Rocky Mountain Race Week with just a couple small tweaks. It makes over 1,000 hp at the wheels, which shows you just how good the F2 Procharger is.

This thing has been back halfed, is ladder bar and wheelie bar equipped, has a current NHRA Chassis Certification, nearly new paint, and more. It has a Big Stuff controlling the EFI, along with a Racepak and MSD Grid. I’d replace the old Big Stuff with a Holley myself, but that’s a personal preference thing.

This car is full of good parts, and we think it would be a fun addition to anyone’s garage.

In the UK we mainly see Falcons in classic sedan races so its nice to see a drag racing influenced one. As it shares the same floorpan with the Mustang all the upgrades would fit on to it including the irs and Coyote motor thar Bill Shepherd Mustangs make available. Now that would be a fine Falcon!
