With Rocky Mountain Race Week coming up in July, I can’t believe the number of people who come up to me and say they need to find something to buy so they can come along too. Well for those of you looking for something totally f’n cool to drive and race on the trip, this is it! This 1956 Buick is a real California car with perfect faded paint and just the right look of cool. But hidden underneath that perfect body is a complete tube chassis with a big tire, nasty Small Block, and much more. It’s begging to go on a drag racing road trip cross country! It’s clear that it’s been sitting for a little while, but man we are sure it would be a riot to drive on RMRW2016.
Here is all the info on it!
treet legal and streetable race car. All metal very straight survivor body (excellent candidate for a nice paint job but I actually prefer the rat rod look) Full length tube chassis w/ roll cage, 4 linked Qa1 rear shocks, Strange Struts, 4 wheel Strange disc brakes. Fuel cell w/ dual Holley blue fuel pumps. Fresh high revving built Chevy small block dart iron eagle, full roller w/ girdle, eagle crank, MSD 7al, Dedenbear RPM2, full drag racing switch/fuse panel with push button start, pro form 950 Holley, moroso electric water pump and custom rad with twin electric fans and a trans cooler. Pro built powerglide w/ brake. Built Dana 60. MW 35 spline axles. Band new quick time pro 31×18.5 Hoosier tires (not yet mounted). Haven’t taken to strip so no ET’s yet. Clean clear title in hand. No rush to sell and wanting to test the waters but I will consider reasonable offers.
