A 1955 Hemi powered Chevrolet Gasser is not something you see everyday, and especially not on the street. But that’s exactly what Mike Finnegan has and does with his. In fact, instead of just driving it around and doing burnouts with the occasion drag racing stint, this year he stepped it up with much better driveline parts and a new attitude that put real power and reliability under this bitch. And then he took it on Drag Week and beat the holy hell out of it on the street and on the strip and then ran a career best ET and MPH on more than one of the days along the way. After visiting Custom by Bigun during their open house, the car got some much needed love and attention, along with new shocks and some suspension tweaks that made it a whole other animal and a who different drive. It must have all worked, cause it hauled even more ass start with the very next Drag Week Pass.
Here’s a cool look inside from the gang at 1320 Video.

What was the final failure diagnosis?
