Well, low compression can sure be the cause of low power issues, even on a boosted application like Leroy the Savage, Cleetus McFarland’s bad ass 7 second Vette Kart. This is one bad beast, but over the past few months there have been some occasional issues with the car and now they know why! After doing some testing it turns out there is a low compression situation going on here and that means some of the Bald Eagles power this bad boy aren’t hanging in there for the team. Luckily it is nothing that can’t be fixed, and it will be good as new by racing season. With that said, it is still entertaining to here what went wrong from Cleetus himself.
