The early 1960’s was a really interesting time in American automotive history, because the entire world was infatuated with the idea of space travel, rockets, etc. That spilled over into the designs of some of the vehicles being put out by GM, Ford, and Mopar. Turbine powered rides were built by Chrysler, Ford, and GM, although all three were completely different in their approaches.
