This one is pretty cool, especially since I grew up at Fremont Dragstrip. I was born in 1972, and at Fremont Dragstrip at only a month old, and man it still makes me wax nostalgic when I see this footage. Jungle Jim, Jungle Pam, and many many others like only the olds days could do. This appears to be somewhere in the 1976 range, which means it would have been really really weird if I wasn’t at this actual race sitting on the hood of our motorhome watching fuelers go by us as the 1/8 mile. There is also some Sacramento footage in there to wet your whistle as well. It’s bitchin stuff, and you’ll dig it. Check out the photographers and no guardrails. AWESOME!!!
