The Automatron’s First Voyage: The What? Sorry That’s Steam Punk Speak For Bitchin Hot Rod

The Automatron’s First Voyage: The What? Sorry That’s Steam Punk Speak For Bitchin Hot Rod

I don’t know what to say about this thing, other than WOW. Some of the fabrication is awesome. The ingenuity is way cool. Some of the parts selection really gets me going. But it’s weird. It’s a hot rod though. Call it steam punk, call it cartoonish, call it whatever. It’s a hot rod, and I can’t wait to see it done. Paul Bacon is the guy behind this thing, and you automatically have to love him since his name is Bacon. He probably hated that growing up, but I worship it. He’s built some other famous cars, all in his little workshop behind his house somewhere in Great Britain. This certainly isn’t a project for the faint of heart, and we hope it’s done this year. The blown Ardun headed Flatty is certainly cool as hell by the way.

Check it out.

    True British eccentricity rules OK!

This is a true gem and I can’t wait to see the finished car – to think that it only took a year to get to this stage is amazing, Now I’ll have to go and lie down as I’m lost for words…
