Danger Close: This Holden Ute Nearly Tags The Wall During The Powerskid Event At Powercruise!

Powerskidding: Break the rear tires loose and take off. You’re doing it right if it looks like a space shuttle launched horizontally with smoke pouring out of the rears at good speed. No brake-torquing here…these are rolling burnouts to judge others by, and the faster you go, the trickier they become. The car wants to torque it’s tail one way or another and the driver has to keep everything nicely balanced, otherwise you end up with that spinning feeling and flat-spotted tires as you try to gather it up before your ride gets a bad case of concrete poisoning. Such is the case of this Holden ute, which was making a run down the long straight at Sydney Motorsports Park when the back end gave a slight wiggle before the ute darted right towards the wall. Kudos to the driver for hanging on for the entire trip, and we wish him well when it comes time to clean those shorts…
