There has never been a drag and drive event that didn’t start off with someone having a really bad day. It happens. Whether that’s in the form of a wreck, engine carnage, transmission carnage, or both, there is always someone who wishes they had just stayed home. And then there are those folks who come out and run their best passes ever. Or their first passes ever! Regardless, you know that there is going to be a lot of excitement and action and adrenaline when it is time to start a drag and drive event.

The start of Race Week 2024 was no different. Some folks loved the day, others hated it, and lots of folks were out there just chasing their tails. Here is 1320Video’s Day One coverage.

Day 1 of Race Week 2.0 at Pine Valley Raceway had plenty of ups and downs! We saw a few people rip off some fast passes while others struggled with the greasy track. Unfortunately we saw a wreck at the top end of the track into the wall. Many racers were not able to make solid passes due to time and having to shut the track down as the dew set in. Tomorrow is another day that starts off with a drive to our next track, Texas Motorplex!
