Generically speaking, roll racing is not my jam, but in the last couple of years it sure has become a bit more fun in my eyes. Maybe that’s because I’ve had 1,000 plus horsepower to the wheels and have experienced the fun you can have from a 60 roll in that kind of machine. Regardless, roll racing has become more and more popular and for good reason. Just like drag racing, you can do it in anything. And it’s actually cheaper than getting into drag racing for some folks because you don’t have to make as many upgrades to the drivetrain on some cars and trucks. If you aren’t hitting the tire from a dig, the load on the drivetrain parts is less, so a stock differential can live longer at more power than it would on the dragstrip. Imports, domestics, and some wild one off builds we love to see. Ice Cream Cruise is always an amazing event, and of course we love some racing like we got in this video.
