Freiburger is all about the beaters, and part of the Duct Tape Drags event each year is a beater challenge called Battle of the Beaters that features cars worth $5000 or less. This is right up our alley, and just one of the things that DF and I see eye to eye on. In this video you’ll find Freiburger, Dulcich, and Tony Angelo giving their critiques and judging the participants alongside the crowd.
Video Description:
It’s the hilarious Battle of the Beaters race for dirt cheap cars with special guests Steve Dulcich of Roadkill Garage and Tony Angelo of Stay Tuned! You’ll also get a bit of Derek from Vice Grip Garage. And, of course, me David Freiburger. This is the second video from the 2024 Duct Tape Drags at Tucson Dragway, so don’t miss part one on my channel.
Watch the hosts and the crowd decide if these cars are worth $5,000 or less, or if they make us happy enough that we let them run either way. Yeah, we make up the rules as we go. After judging, the cars rip or stroll down the track in a heads-up shooting until there’s only one car standing in each class. This is for the fun and the glory! Mostly the fun.
