Yeah, I see that Kentucky license plate on the back of this first-gen Ford Lightning. And I can say that I do not remember seeing this rig anywhere recently, so I have more questions than answers about this orange Ford that showed up for East Coast Truck Wars 3 event at Middle Georgia Motorsports Park. The first-gen Lightning was good for the time with it’s 351 and sport truck looks, but 240 horsepower was only good when the trucks were new…at an event like Truck Wars, that would relegate it to being a tow vehicle for the real race machine. Again, more questions than answers here for you…is this Ryan Jones or Dave Reyna? Is there a Coyote under the hood, or has the 351 found some guts? Whatever the case, this Lightning will strike round after round…how lucky do you really feel?
