It’s the Off Season for all the professional category racers, but that didn’t keep the crazies of Pro Mod from heading to Bradenton last week for some final passes of 2013. The number of Pro Mods was so big they actually had two fields, and both put on one hell of a show. Thanks to Benioit Pigeon we’ve got great action photos for you to check out. I also want to note that Adam Flamholc, who had one of the most horrific crashes in Pro Mod history earlier this year, was back out with his new car AND WON! The Dodge Daytona, formerly owned by Pete Farber, was on site for some testing despite the fact that Pete and his crew had just repainted the car the previous week!
It took them 4 qualifying runs to get in, but once they did the team was on a mission and when all the chips fell they were the guys on top in the Pro Mod B group. As all of you race fans out there know, running a new car, with a different combination than it has had, at the final race of the year, is not usually going to be a real successful outing. That was not the case for Adam and his crew, and we congratulate them on a very deserved win. Watch out 2014, cause Adam and the gang should be going rounds!
In addition to the aforementioned Pro Mod photos, there are also Drag Radial and 10.5 action shots you’ll want to see in this gallery. Check them all out at the link below.
Some really cool looking cars. But man are the front ends of those two 62 Chevy Pro Mods ugly as can be.
