When Tommy Lee says that the Southeast Gassers Association has the best old-school racing series, he’s not kidding. These guys put on a hell of a show with cars that have the look and feel of the real thing and that are out there to put on a great show while having fun racing. How can you not like that? The Southeast Gassers Association has the BEST old school racing platform out there. Every car must have a manual transmission and that encourages some major RPMs, especially in the burnout box. Lots of great traditional gassers on hand. Lots of action. My agenda for the day was to cover the event for All Chevy Performance magazine, so most of what I shot video of was non-Chevy stuff. Just random stuff…no real rhyme or reason to this. Just some RAW, high winding old school small blocks and big blocks doing battle just like they would have in the 1960’s.
