I first met Nick Plewniak on Rocky Mountain Race Week when he showed up with an S10 pickup that had a big block in the bed and was extended a few feet. It was called the “Stretchy Truck” and was a fun one to watch going down the track, but a real riot to see rolling down the road. It got A LOT of attention. Nick’s a great dude, and always fun to have around for a thrash, which is why he has subsequently been a huge help on various drag and drive events where he’s provided welding support for anyone in need. He’s also built some pretty bad ass drag cars in his home garage and has been on several street outlaws shows kicking ass and taking names. His story is cool and you’ll want to hear it. It’s full of excitement. LOL

From the time he was a kid, he’s had the racing bug stemming from his father being big into the drag racing scene in the 90’s and growing up around drag strips and motorsports in general. Many surreal experiences and crazy builds later, Nick is still on the road with his wife, newborn child and dog making their drag racing dreams come true.
